Ytd i went for my dental appointment together with my mum around 9:30 in the mornin. at first i thought it was just another normal check up. when i reached there, my dentist, Dr Chan told me to be mental prepare. when i am still tryin to figure out what Dr Chan meant by mental prepare, suddenly i heard her sayin, ' actually its just a simple tooth extraction....' tooth extraction?? i was like, erm sorry Dr Chan, what did u said just now? i think she noticed my face full of worries, so she said, 'dont be so worried, u can choose to have it done by today or next week.' why dont u say it early, i nearly fainted on the chair that i am sittin. of cos i will choose to have it done by next week i am not 'mental prepare' at all. i felt somekind of relieved. atleast there are choices for me to choice. suddenly i heard my mum's voice, ' lets get the tooth extraction done by today, i hope u will have ur braces done by this holiday.' i looked at mum with my face sayin, ' what are talkin about?' no choice, i went to the second floor to have my tooth extraction. the oral surgeon asked me some questions and called me to sit on the chair and he suddenly cracked a joke by sayin i have a nice manicure. haha. i cuckled. the oral surgeon told me to relax myself. i was like, excuse me ? who said i am not relax enough. i am not worried at all infact. just that my whole body was tremblin and shakin, thats all. general anesthetic is used to completely numb the area where my tooth would be extracted. there was two teeth needed to be extracted. i could not control my body from tremblin. the dentist told me i will feel alot of pressure now but not pain and instructed me to raise my right hand if i feel any pain. the dentist grasp the tooth with forces and rock it back and forth to loosen the tooth. my lower tooth was been extracted. now the dentist startin to repeat the same thing that he did for my lower tooth on my upper tooth. the dentist looked so serious. suddenly i heard a crack sound. the sound frightened me that i actually grabbed the dentist's hand and its all over. the dentist smile at me and asked me if i was ok. i answer yes. suddenly he asked me why i suddenly grabbed his hand, was it the crack sound? how he know i grabbed his hand because of the crack sound? lol. after that, he told me the things that i sld and sld not do. not to rinse my mouth too often, please rest after the extraction and avoid hot food and so on. the dentist also told me there may be a little blood from the extraction site on the first day. if bleedin occurs, fold a piece of gauze into a quarter and apply it directly against the extraction wound. i may take some panadol if i feel any pain after the numb has gone. after he gave me the gauze, my mum and me left the dental centre. its 1500 in the afternoon i still haven eat my breakfast but i am not hungry at all. after the extraction, i have no appetite. when its 1630 in the afternoon, my numb has gone. but i dont feel any pain. next week, i will have another tooth extraction. omG.
